The National General Assembly of Local Government has expressed concern regarding current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding, calling on the Government and Opposition to review the scheme.

Cowra Mayor, Cr Bill West, said he is yet to hear from the member for Riverina, Michael McCormack, requesting a representative of the NDIS visit Cowra and speak to Council and the Cowra Access Committee about community concerns.
"My letter was sent on November 27, 2018 and to this day we are yet to hear a response," he said.
"I understand the Federal Government recently announced Stuart Robert, as the new Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. We hope Mr Robert will hear us out, and send an NDIS representative to talk to Council and the Cowra Access Committee."
