We have lots happening throughout the week in Cowra.
- Georgia Lewis
Cowra Youth Council Chairperson, Georgia Lewis, is encouraging young people to join in.
"This year the Cowra Youth Council has partnered with Cowra Council, Live Better Community Services and St Raphael's Catholic Parish to broaden the Youth Week events on offer," Georgia said.
"We have lots happening throughout the week in Cowra.
"There's a youth development workshop, a movie afternoon, family disco, Debutante Ball and some fantastic skate deck and mural painting workshops at the Skate Park," she added.
The Cowra Youth Council will also be launching their #projectupstander challenge to encourage the Cowra community to take a stand against bullying.
Watch out for Youth Week giveaways and a special social media feature showcasing some of the 'Young Faces of Cowra'.
Youth Week began as a NSW Government initiative in 1989, and has since grown to be a celebration of young people in every state and territory across the country.
