It's not everyday that kids get to jump onto a hoverboard, but that's exactly what students from Wyangala Dam, Koorawatha and Woodstock got to do last Friday.

The Shell Questacon Science Circus stopped by Wyangala Dam Public School to give students the opportunity to help conduct experiments in a hands-on environment.
Abby and Madeleine from the Shell Questacon Science Circus taught the students a range of new science skills, such as how to conduct experiments with a question, guess and test and how different forces impact on objects.
Abby took the students through the different types of energy, such as heat, light and movement while Madeleine taught the students about the engineering side of science, such as what materials to use when building structures.
Arguably the highlight of the day was the opportunity to have a ride on a hand-made hoverboard and try walking over a small bridge made by Madeleine.
