McNaught’s absence will be music to the ears of the Molong side as well as the absence of his brother Sam with both having other commitments.
Bowling workhorse Brendan Traves will replace Jacob McNaught.
Traves may not be as quick as McNaught but he will bowl long spells and has the ability to tie down batsmen for extended periods.
Also coming into the side for Sunday’s clash will be Craig Carpenter and Josh Carmody.
Cowra will be looking for a bigger contribution from it’s top order with opener Peter Guthrie the only top order batsman to provide any resistance in Cowra’s win over Grenfell last Sunday.
The Cowra team to take on Molong at 10am is: Peter Guthrie, Sam Long, Mick Curtale, Josh Carmody, Tom Thuaux, Greg Garlick, Ben Houghton, Chris Day, Craig Carpenter, Brendan Traves, Scott Wilson and Nick Traves.
