It was pedal to the metal and all motors running at Gooloogong Public School last Saturday as the Orange Motorcycle and Enthusiast Club paid the village a visit.

More than 100 motorcycles and their riders parked themselves at the school to enjoy a spot of lunch and a pit stop, courtesy of the Gooloogong Public School P&C.

Gooloogong Public School Principal, Mitchell Welham, said it was a great opportunity to showcase the school to those from outside the region.
"Our P&C hosted a huge lunch for 125 motorcyclists passing through Gooloogong on Saturday," he said.
"This was an amazing opportunity for outsiders to experience our wonderful school."
Mr Welham thanked those who helped out on the day.

"A huge, huge thank you to all those who helped out," he said.
"We'd also like to thank our families for donations of food.
"Our P&C raised a little over $2,000 for the day."
