The team of 12 drivers with ten trucks have carted between 500 and 600 large bales of hay from Dalwallinu in WA to the south coast of NSW to provide fodder for farmers affected by the big dry and bushfire conditions throughout the summer.
The trucks had a quick pit stop in Cowra on Wednesday and Cowra's RRT Leader, Phillip Hurrell said local members were providing lunch for the drivers.

"They've stopped here in Cowra because Cowra is one of the Rapid Relief Team bases," he said.
"We are just giving them a quick refreshing and then they're heading on down to Canberra and then down to the coast.
"It's only something simple, but give them a refreshing stop and we know it's going out for a good cause, they're doing their bit to help those in need."
Before getting to Cowra, the trucks also stopped off in Forbes.
"They made their way across to Forbes and unhitched and they were in road train form," Mr Hurrell said.
"[They] got some more prime movers to help pull the trailers along."
Of the 12 truck drivers, there were two local men helping the cause.
"Jadan Enterprises have got two Cowra drivers here and there's a couple from Leeton, a couple from Lake Cargelligo and at least one from WA itself. They are all part of the RRT," Mr Hurell said.
