Fly Oz's Lyn Gray and Mark Dixon accepted the award in front of a packed house at the Cowra Showground Pavilion on Saturday night.
Mr Dixon said the Cowra community has always been supportive of the team's efforts.
"Cowra's done a lot for us as a community and a town," he said.
"Lyn came here before I did, about 10 years ago, started Fly Oz out at the airport there and started off as a one-woman band and we've got 10 of us there now full time and it's just growing and growing."
Mr Dixon said Cowra provided the perfect location for Fly Oz.
"We couldn't have done it really anywhere else than Cowra, when you consider the fact that we were able to purchase land on the airfield and develop it and grow the business," he said.
"I think Cowra is an integral part of the fact that Fly Oz has been on the road to where it is today."
Mrs Gray said their success wouldn't be possible without their staff.
"We have a wonderful team of people who work with us," she said.
"We wouldn't be anything without the staff, office staff and flying staff so we appreciate you all."
Mr Dixon, noting an earlier speech by Joanna Treasure about opportunities in Cowra, said he believed the town provided a chance for a variety of small businesses.
"I look at it in the opposite way, that perhaps we have a bit of a blank canvas, you can create whatever you want," he said.
