The family of Betty Ward donated $3330 to the group after holding a number of fundraisers across NSW.
Mrs Ward's daughter, Mary Gee, said her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in May this year at the age of 91.
"We thought we need to do some fundraising," she said.
"She was the seed that started it all rolling."
Mrs Gee and her daughters, Bernadette Daniels and Linda Buhagiar, then held a number of raffles, 100 clubs and auctions in areas such as Cowra, Koorawatha and Wallacia.
Generous prizes were donated, including a signed Greater Western Sydney Giants jersey, a $1000 Visa Gift Card and Steve Lovett signed boxing gloves.
"Just ridiculous things we came up with," Mrs Gee said.
Mrs Daniels also took on the razor and had her head shaved for the cause.
All up, the family raised $7000, which was shared between the Cancer Action Group and CareWest in Orange.
Cowra Cancer Action Group President, Barbara Newham said she wanted to "dance on the tables" when she was told about the donation.
"It's an amazing effort and we are so grateful to you, an amazing family," she said.
