Don’t be put off by the name University of the Third Age, University is used in the original sense of a community of like-minded people coming together to share ideas and learn from each other.
There are no exams, no homework just a group of people in their “Third Age”, learning in a friendly relaxed atmosphere now we have the time to pursue interests and hobbies that we were unable to do whilst working.
A regular part of our activities to keep our bodies moving and flexible and to help with balance are our sessions of Tai Chi at 9am on Tuesday and Thursday and Balance ‘n Bones at 10am on Tuesdays.
Everyone from beginners to the experienced is welcome.
