The Cowra Guardian is hosting Australia's Biggest Morning Tea next month, inviting everyone to come together at the Cowra Guardian office, 50b Kendal Street for a cuppa in support of those impacted by cancer.

Scheduled for 10am on Thursday, May 23, the event promises refreshments, snacks, and a raffle for attendees to enjoy.
Cowra Guardian staff member Michelle Brown, organiser of the event is the driving force behind the event.
"My Beautiful friend Leeanne Savva passed away from Cancer way too young," Michelle said.
"I miss her so much," she added, highlighting the personal toll cancer has taken on her own life and family.
"My Dad has had three types of cancer," Michelle added.
"Both Dad and Mum continually fight skin cancer as do I."

Speaking about the widespread impact of cancer, Michelle said, "everyone knows someone affected by cancer".
She noted the importance of raising awareness and funds through events like Australia's Biggest Morning Tea.
"Cancer seems to be a common subject spoken about by all ages as awareness is more prevalent these days," Michelle said.
Reflecting on the event's significance, Michelle highlighted its role in fostering conversation and support as well as much needed funds.
"The biggest morning tea is a fantastic way to have a chat or share stories about how cancer has affected our lives," she said.
Michelle emphasised the importance of donations, which will go towards projects like supporting kids with a SunSmart Education, training for cancer professionals, practical and emotional support and transport to receive treatment.

With almost one in two Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, the event serves as a rallying point for the community to come together and make a difference.
