A positive has also been detected in sewerage in Canowindra.
There was two new cases identified in the Western NSW Local Health District, in the following areas, one in Bathurst and one in Orange.
Neither case was infectious in the community
Western NSW Local Health District said there has been positive sewerage detection in Bathurst, Bourke, Canowindra, Cowra, Gulgong, Lightning Ridge, Narromine, Nyngan, Oberon, Orange and Walgett.
"There are currently no recent or confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Canowindra, Lightning Ridge, Gulgong and Nyngan. We are urging the community to be vigilant for the onset of COVID-19 symptoms and, if they appear, to immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received," Western NSW Health said.
"We encourage people with NO symptoms to be tested for COVID-19 surveillance. People having surveillance tests may not need to isolate."
