Following the previous week when no golf competitions were held due to prevailing wet weather, on Thursday, October 7 the Cowra Golf Club Veterans had perfect weather conditions, and the golf course was in great condition, to play their nine hole stableford event commencing from the first tee.

From the field of 50 players, Warwick Stubbing was the winner with 20 stableford points, closely followed by John Herrett, Mark Stirling and Barry Reynolds all just one point in arrears with 19 points. Their order being decided on a count back.
