A son of US sire Roll With Joe out of their bonny mare Alitomo, the Anne O'Connor trained Joetomo took out.
Alitomo was the winner of more than 40 races and has produced a number of winners since being retired from racing including another from the O'Connor stable, Flytomo.
Now a five year old Joetomo's Young win takes his record to four wins and 12 minors from 33 starts.
Despite being left without cover for most of the journey, Joetomo, driven by Scott Osmond, raced away in the straight to defeat race favourite Promise to Rock by five and a half metres.
Trained and driven by Shannon Rye, Twisted Mistress ($31), made it a double for Cowra when she took out the final event on the program.
In breaking its maiden at start 27 for Twisted Mistress was coming off the back of only moderate form this preparation which had resulted in an eighth at Canberra and a fifth placing at Young the start before.
Rye drove the mare confidently taking her straight to the lead in the 2100 metre event before taking off and breaking the field up at the bell. At the post the Cowra mare had nearly eight metres to spare from the placegetters.
