Sessions will be held at the Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre on Thursday, July 9 (2pm to 7pm) and Monday, July 20 (10pm to 2pm) to allow community members to gather at a local venue, collect information and share their views on regional health care services.
Cowra Health Services Manager, Pauline Rowston said it was important the community had their input on what services they wanted.
"I encourage everyone to come and tell us what health care services you would like to see delivered in Cowra in the future, and how you see them being delivered," she said.
"Consultation is open to anyone who accesses health services in Cowra, including people living in surrounding towns such as Grenfell, Canowindra and Gooloogong."
The sessions are part of a wider consultation to inform the Cowra Clinical Services Plan.
The Plan will take into consideration the community's health needs over the next 10 years and help determine requirements for a hospital site, the role of the hospital within the District and the range of health care services provided.
The Drop in sessions provide community members flexibility to attend at a time that suits them and aligns with health advice for social distancing and hygiene practices.
"People attending a drop in session will be asked a number of health and wellness questions before entering to ensure they are healthy to participate," Ms Rowston said.
"If you are unwell, please stay home and give us your feedback over email, phone or by arranging a video conference."
The consultation is open until Friday 24 July 2020.
People can provide input into the consultation a number of ways including attending a community drop in session and filling out an online survey available at https://wnswlhd.health.nsw.gov.au/join- us/engage-with-us/have-your-say
