Cowra artists develop skills at home

The Cowra Art Group Monday artists comprise the largest individual gathering within the Art Group and the COVID-19 restrictions will have the greatest effect on them as a group.

Sometimes there are up to 17 artists filling the art room with energy and enthusiasm as they create their individual works.

Distancing rules will necessitate breaking up into two groups, perhaps morning and afternoon.

Time will tell.

Meanwhile some have continued to be very active at home with their artistic skills.

The individuals use a variety of techniques.

Some of the group use oils, watercolour or acrylics to paint, while others use charcoals or pencils to great effect.

Some like to experiment with abstractions while predominately the subject matter is "traditional" in nature.

They are all looking forward to meeting again to encourage and inspire each other.
