In a large field of finalists, Balance Accountants and Advisers have taken out the Cowra Shire Council Outstanding Employer of Choice Award at the Cowra Business Awards on Saturday night.

Balance Accountants and Advisers Partner, Andrew Pullen, accepted the award on behalf of his team, paying tribute to his staff.
"We got nominated for three awards this year and this was the one we thought was pretty fitting for what we try and do," he said.
"We've been open for seven years and we've grown from a team of Matt and I to a team of about 16 now.
"We always say we are lucky to have the staff that we've got."
Mr Pullen said the business has tried to grow a culture which has seen new staff come on board.
"This is also a testament to our staff, that every new staff member we get is welcomed and the culture continues," he said.
