With the forecast temperature heading towards mid-30 degrees on Thursday, October 24, 2019, a field of intrepid veteran golfers took to the course to play a nine hole Stableford competition, starting in the morning from the 10th tee at the Cowra Golf Club.

From the field of 25 players, congratulations are due to Neil HAYES who scored an impressive 25 Stableford points for the nine holes, which is equivalent to playing 14 strokes better than his 18 hole handicap of 22.
He was followed with good scores by John CAMPBELL with 22 points and Ray SALISBURY with 22 points.
All the prize winners played to or better than their handicap, including last week's winner, Brian MCGUINESS, who again performed impressively to wind up in the winners' list.
The nine prize winners for the day are listed with their Stableford score and the handicap they played off in brackets.

The prize winners will have their handicap reduced by three for future veteran events.
