In great weather conditions last Thursday, a field of 25 Veteran Golfers took to the tenth hole at Cowra Golf Club to play in a nine hole Stableford competition.

Despite the continuing dry weather, the whole Golf Course continues to provide an excellent sporting experience, with the putting greens an exceptional vivid green.
For this, large thanks must go to the dedicated work of the green keeping staff, whose efforts are always appreciated.
Dereck Brown was the clear winner for the day with 20 points.

Dereck BROWN was the clear winner for the day with 20 points, closely followed by Alan LUUF, Terry WINWOOD-SMITH and Dave THOMAS all with 19 points, though there were a host of other players not far behind, making for a competitive day of golf.
Bruce AMOS (on 18 points), Noel RILEY and Michael PRESCOTT (Both on 17 points), also put up some solid score in their own right.
The nine prize winners for the day are listed with their Stableford score, alongside the handicap that they played off (in brackets).

The prize winners will have their handicap reduced by three for future veteran events.
Players who score 16 Stableford points or less, and were not prize winners in this week's event, will have their handicap increased by two for veteran events.
