Mid-Lachlan Landcare are set to host a pest management workshop for interested landholders on Thursday, September 26 at Sally Prass' property on Barryrennie Road, Cowra from 12.30pm till 4pm.
Foxes, pigs, deer, goats, cats and rabbits have all been recorded around the area.
Wild dogs are also getting increasingly close, with reports of them in Nangar and possible sightings in Conimbla already.
Join Mid-Lachlan Landcare for the afternoon to discuss pest animals and understand what species you have and options for removal.
A range of topics will be covered in the shed and then out on a paddock walk to inspect the recently installed exclusion fence on this property.
Topics include pest lures training and services, scats and tracks identification, camera trapping tips and tricks and pest animal control options.
There will also be two guest speakers - Gus Arnott on Waratah Fencing and Damien Cullenward on feral goat control and utilising working dogs to muster feral goats on farms.
