The results mean that the first grade side sits on top of the ladder after four weeks, while the second grade team is in eighth place, just ahead of the Ex Services FC's Bobcats and Bengals teams.
First Grade
The first grade Eagles got themselves in to a winning position with three second half goals, but it didn't always seem like things were going to pan out that way against the Orange Ex-Services team.
While the Eagles controlled most of the play in the first half, they did so without looking like they would score, and it took a late penalty to last week's double goal scorer Mick Curtale, to get the visiting side one up at half-time.
However, things clicked into gear during the second half, with Shawn Mortyne putting through two goals while Andrew Booth chipped in for another, making the match a difficult one to lose.
Sam Long, Tyler Hunt and Wade Kinsela were among the team's best, but coach Chris Baratto lamented the team's ball use at times, with "too many final touches going astray" according to the coach.
Second Grade
Heading over to Orange alongside the senior team, but taking on Kinross Wolaroi, the reserves team lost 0-1.
However, they put up a significantly better effort after some large losses throughout the early part of the season.
Bevan Foxall, Ryan Hattenfels and goalkeeper Tristan O'Reilly were among the best players for the team, with Baratto putting down the team's "more steely defence" and "energised effort across the paddock" as the main reasons for the team's improvement.
Both of the men's Eagles teams will be at Edgell Park this week, with the first grade side set to take on Barnstoneworth United at 3.15pm, while the second grade side will play the Saints Stars at 1.30pm.
