What is Cord Blood?
The Umbilical cord which is the lifeline between mother and baby during pregnancy is now the lifeline curing many life threatening diseases.
Cord Blood is the blood left in the placenta and umbilical cord after birth.
It can now be used to save lives. How great would it be that one day Cord Blood will be able to cure all blood cancers.
Now it is being used in sick people suffering from Leukaemia and other blood disorders.
Group 1 diabetes, Cystic Fibrosis and Cerebral Palsy sufferers are benefiting from the Cord Blood Research being done in Australia.
Support Cord Blood Research by visiting the Cowra Inner Wheel Stall outside Optimal Plus Pharmacy on Friday, April 26.
Bush Bears will be on sale as well as linen tea towels and bling pens. The raffle will be a large hamper and tickets are sold only on the day, April 26.
