Cowra's youth will have the opportunity to paint their skate decks and transform the Cowra Skate Park into a work of art as part of the "Paint it My Way" project.

Part of Youth Week activities in Cowra, "Paint it My Way" will be held in the Cowra Library Nguluway Room on Monday, April 15 in two sessions.
The first session runs from 10am to 12 noon and the second from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.
Art tutor Kris Lear of 8aesthetix will guide participants through the process.
Participants are given a blank skateboard deck to design and paint onto and keep.. The deck is a high quality one that is completely usable once wheels etc are fitted (not part of the workshop, at participants own expense).
Cost is $20 with bookings at Council.
Free mural painting workshops will be held at the skate park on Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17 from 10am to 3pm with the best artworks incorporated into the final murals to be painted on the skate park.
Youth Week activities in Cowra began on Wednesday when the Cowra Youth Council launched their #projectupstander challenge to encourage the Cowra community to take a stand against bullying.
