Just under a month ago, Cowra was treated to some funny and rude additions to Cowra's region on Google Maps, thanks to some enterprising pranksters.
While the maps were corrected and offensive names quickly removed, it appears as though pranksters are at it again.
With a quick search of the town on Monday afternoon, the Cowra Guardian spotted some new businesses and rude additions to Cowra's region on Google Maps.
It's still not clear who the perpetrators are, however names have been placed on parks, new businesses added as well as some businesses being relocated.
Some of the new businesses include Bing Lee and Hungry Jacks.
On the last occasion, a Google spokesperson said the company recognises that inaccuracies could be suggested by users.
"We’re heavily invested in empowering users to contribute their local knowledge to Google products and services," the spokesperson said.
"Overall, allowing users to suggest information provides comprehensive and up-to-date info, but we recognise there may be occasional inaccuracies suggested by users.
"When this happens, we do our best to address the issue as quickly as possible. Users can also flag listings that they believe violate Google My Business listing policies by clicking on 'suggest an edit' and then 'report'."
