Woodstock Park Speedway will come alive this Saturday night when Cowra Motorcycle Racing Club hosts the prestigious 2018 NSW 500cc Open Speedway Championships under lights.

The meeting will feature six Australian Internationals, five local riders and more.
Not only will all the riders have their eye on placing in the NSW Championship but there is also the issue of UK work visas up for grabs for the top three placegetters in the final.
If a rider secures a top three placing in a State Championship and a British Speedway League team is interested in signing the rider, the rider is able to apply for a work visa to ride in the UK.
“The competition will be fierce, so come out to Woodstock Park Speedway and cheer the local boys on,” Cowra Motorcycle racing club president Steve Kurtz said.
Aussie legend and 10 times Australian Champion Leigh Adams is a special guest for the night.
Mayor of Cowra, Cr Bill West will also be attending to welcome the riders, their families and spectators to our great facility at Woodstock Park Speedway.
Gates open at 3.30 pm and the days racing will kick off with practice at 6pm followed by the presentation of riders with racing commencing at 7pm.
Admission charges – Adults 16 Years and Over - $20, Pensioners & Kids 10-U16 Years - $10 and Kids U10 Years are free.
Full canteen facilities will be available and a great days racing assured.
