“The systems I am putting into place are not about me, it’s about getting the best out of the football team and them as individuals,” Hancock said.
Hancock’s supporting coaches have been confirmed for the coming season, with Jack Nobes leading the women’s Tag team, Rory O’Brien in charge of the Under 18’s and Will Ingram leading the Reserves.
Last year’s coach Steve Sutton will stay involved, while Craig Jefferies will assist across the grades.
Training starts this Sunday, the 25th of November at Sid Kallas Oval, with all teams taking part in a training run from 10 am.
Hancock is keen to more closely integrate the women’s players into the club’s footy program.
“We want to incorporate Tag into grade training a little bit more,” Hancock said.
“Those girls are looking to skill themselves up, so there [will be times] where they are a part of what we do in our core base sessions,” Hancock said.
