The annual Festival is just around the corner with more than 5000 people expected to join in the festivities taking place in Kendal Street, Cowra on Friday, December 7.
The event offers a wide range of local and regional stallholders to choose from, as well as the opportunity to shop local with store owners extending their trading hours for the duration of the festival.
This year will see the return of both the Cowra Guardian Christmas Cracker and beloved CINC Christmas Wonderland in Squire Park, as well as some exciting live entertainment up on the main stage, headlined by the youngest ever winner of 'The Voice Australia' Ellie Drennan.
Most impressive of all is the up-to 100 market stalls that will fill Cowra's main street with everything from handmade crafts, clothing and jewellery, to delicious local and international cuisines.
“We have received a large number of applications from stallholders across the region, it's going to be a sensational night," Cowra Tourism Events and Marketing Officer, Kurt Overzet said.
“It's great to see such diversity in the applicants, and I'm looking forward to seeing the many more that will come in over the next week or so.
“The festival presents a fantastic opportunity for stallholders to showcase their products in Cowra's largest market setting".
Stallholder applications for this year's Cowra Christmas Street Festival close next Friday, November 16.
