The clients and staff of Cowra Special Needs and Post School Options held a sausage sizzle and cake stall to raise funds for Rural Aid on Wednesday, September 19.

The staff and clients meet a Squire Park dressed in boots, flannies and akubras to show support for Australian farmers doing it tough in the drought.
Post School Option’s Julie Lynch and Kristie Reid said they were always being supported by the community and the fundraiser was a way for them to give back to the community.

“We are very happy to be helping our farming community,” they said.
“We are always receiving donations from the community supporting us and our activities so this is our way of giving back.”
As well as the cake stall the group held a raffle with Plenty of tickets being sold. The lucky winners were Letitia Gee and Sandra Cooper. The staff and clients were able to raise $870 for Rural Aid.
