This year’s John McDonald Memorial winner Metallic Flash has bounced back to the winners circle with a classy triumph at Richmond.

The Paul and Pamela Braddon-trained greyhound registered his first victory since July 4 taking out the Phil Davis Memorial Consolation (535m) on Friday night.

He skipped to the lead from box eight to score victory in a speedy time of 30.88s, edging out the Jody Gordon-trained Serena Serena and Rosa Rebel trained by Bruce Gentle.

While the result marked his first win in five starts, it was also Metallic Flash’s sixth victory in career start number 12.

He’s now had three starts from box eight and produced two wins and a minor placing.
