A man’s facing multiple charges after forcing entry to a home and assaulting a man on Tuesday afternoon, and police expect to lay further charges after a second altercation that day.

The 44-year-old man was arrested by police from Canobolas Local Area Command on Wednesday morning, and was charged with unlawful entry on inclosed lands, stalk/intimidate with intent to cause fear or harm; and assault.
It’s alleged the man forced his way into a residence on Back Street about 12pm on Tuesday, before he allegedly assaulted the occupant’s 27-year-old partner.
The man fled and police was alerted.
Later that day, it’s alleged the two men were again involved in an altercation, resulting in both men receiving minor injuries.
Inquiries are continuing into that matter.
The 44-year-old man was given strict conditional bail to appear at Cowra Local Court on August 23.
Police expect to lay further charges in relation to the second altercation.
