Choolburra is a dynamic and versatile comedian, dancer, storyteller and didge player who has received rave reviews from schools.
His performance will be viewed by all students at Cowra High School and invited community Elders, as special guests, in two sessions on Tuesday, July 25 at 10am and 11.35am.
This year’s NAIDOC theme, “Our languages matters”, aims t celebrate the unique and essential role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait languages play in cultural identity.
Cowra High believes Choolburra can bring an amusing insight into life as an Aboriginal man while providing an example of the pathways to performing for many of the school’s students, indigenous and non-indigenous, who have shown an interest in pursuing a career in the creative and performing arts.
As a comedian Sean's audiences whether corporate, private, public sector, or community are always delighted by his wit, energetic delivery, improvisations, and non-stop dance moves.
