Students arrived at school in Spiderman, Buzz Lightyear and Transformers costumes, asked to dress as something that begins with their favourite letter.
Teacher Kim Smith said kinders have started developing literacy skills using ‘Jolly Phonics’, a learning technique that emphasises teaching students the sounds of letters.
