Police have reported a fire between 4am and 4.30am on January 10 at a retail premises in Macquarie Street, Cowra.

It appears as though a discarded pile of clothing was placed at a door way to the premises and was ignited by unknown persons.
This caused minor smoke and fire damage to the property, mainly limited to the door.
Police and NSW Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the fire.
Police inquires are continuing into the cause.

Stolen motor vehicle
A motor vehicle has been reported stolen sometime between 1.15pm and 5.30pm on January 9, on the Lachlan Valley Way near the intersection of Chardonnay Road.
A gray 2008 Toyota LandCruiser station wagon was stolen whilst the owner of the vehicle was fishing on the Lachlan River.
Stolen motor vehicle
A motor vehicle has been reported stolen from a Brisbane Street residence between 2pm and 6pm on January 8.
A grey Holden Trax was stolen and police inquires are continuing.
Vehicle in flood water
Police report a vehicle was caught in flood waters around 9am on January 8 on Noonbinna Road.
The vehicle, containing four occupants, entered a causeway filled with storm water from recent heavy falls.
The vehicle stalled and was pushed off the road by the force of the flowing water.
All four occupants were able to leave the vehicle and swim to safety.
Malicious damage
Police report an act of malicious damage between 4pm and 9pm on January 5 in Macquarie Street.
During this incident, the windscreen of a Mitsubishi sedan was damaged by unknown persons.
Brawl
Police report a brawl which took place around 3.30pm on January 6 in Amie Street.
During this incident a dispute has erupted between a number of residents in the street, which resulted in a physical altercation.
Police attended and no formal action has been instigated at this stage, however police inquires are continuing.
Dog attacks
A number of dog attacks have occurred recently according to police.
The first attack occurred between 8am and 8.20am on January 6, in Browns Avenue, Canowindra.
During this incident, a dog is alleged to have attacked a number of sheep and goats.
Police inquires are continuing.
The second incident occurred around 7pm on January 5, in Thomas Street, Cowra.
During this incident, a two-year-old child was bitten by a dog.
The toddler received a bite to the right side of their face and was taken to Cowra Hospital for treatment.
They received a number of stitches to the wound.
Random breath test
Police report a positive random breath test around 10.20pm on January 5 on the Mid Western Highway.
A 39-year-old Cowra man was subjected to a roadside breath test and returned a positive result.
He was taken to Cowra Police Station where he returned a reading of 0.050.
He received an infringement notice for low range PCA, a three month automatic loss of licence and a $587 fine.
Theft from motor vehicle
Police report a theft from a motor vehicle between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on December 17 in Hanna Street.
A Fusion brand impact driver, which was in the front of the vehicle, was stolen.
Theft
Police report a theft around 11.50am on January 5 at a business premises on the Grenfell Road.
An Apple iPhone and other personal property was stolen.
The iPhone was later located that day in Brisbane Street and police inquires are continuing.
Break and Enter
Police report a break and enter around 2pm on January 4 at an address in Campbell Street.
Entry was gained via the front door and a quantity of alcohol was stolen.
Police are seeking assistance with the identity of a person of interest who may be able to help with their inquires.
They are described as being a Caucasian male who was wearing a grey and blue hooded jumper with a red stripe across the abdomen.
He was wearing dark coloured shorts and, at the time, was riding a scooter.

Break and Enter, stolen motor vehicle
A motor vehicle was stolen following a break and enter at a Macquarie Street residence between 4pm on January 2 and 5pm on January 3.
Entry was gained to the premises via a front window and a set of car keys were stolen.
Those keys were then used to steal a white 2020 Great Wall ute.
The vehicle was later located on January 6 on Glenlogan Road, where it had been abandoned and destroyed by fire.
Vehicle accident
A passenger in a vehicle travelling near Canowindra was hospitalised after the car was struck by a falling tree branch.
According to police, the incident occurred around 3pm on January 3 on Canowindra Road, Canowindra.
During the incident, the vehicle was being driven by a 52-year-old Canowindra woman and was struck by a tree branch which fell from an overhanging tree.
The branch penetrated the windscreen and punctured the 18-year-old passenger's right leg.
Police, Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance attended and the passenger was conveyed to Orange Hospital via helicopter.
Break and Enter, stolen vehicles
A number of motorcycles have been stolen following a break and enter at a business in Kendal Street.
Entry was gained via a front window which was smashed around 5.30am on January 3.
During this incident a Kawasaki KX450 motorcycle was stolen.
Two other motorbikes were also stolen but were recovered a short time later.
Police inquires are continuing and any information from the public would be appreciated.
