Cowra women's bowls back on the green

How wonderful to be back on the greens again.

We have had our Club Pairs semi-finals with K Nelson and M Peterson defeating J Bailey and M Nicholls, and D Dye and S Hubber defeating C Howarth and B McGilvray.

The final, which was washed out, will be finished at a later date.

Club Fours began on Tuesday with J McAlister, K Nelson, J Kiernicki and Jen Davies defeating R Oliver, E Bryant, J Saurine and L Burns to progress to the semi-final to play E Brown, C Howarth, C Prosper and J Day after they defeated K Fisher, D Presnell, M Peterson and B McGilvray.

The other semi-final will be B Bundy, S Davis, J Bailey and A Castelli to play S Morgan, M Nicholls, D Dye and S Hubber.

Melbourne Cup Day on November 2 will be a great day, so put on your race day hats and mufti dress.

There will be a mixed day of bowls, including a sausage sizzle with prizes galore and plenty of cup sweeps.

Single entry sheets will be on the Men's and Ladies' board or ring the club on 6341 3219 on the day before 9.30 for 10am start.

Everyone welcome, both players and non- players.
