A healthy field of 66 golfers took part in last Saturday's individual stableford at the Cowra Golf Club. Thirty seven points was the best of the day taking out both A and B grades.

This weekend the club will hold its October monthly medal sponsored by Cowra Toyota and Lachlan Valley Hotel.
Last Saturday's A Grade winner was Terry Coates who prevailed by one point over Rod Eastwood with 36 points.
Nick Basson filled the top three on 35 points, taking the final placing on a countback.
In B Grade Kris Knights returned the best score with a countback needed to split Mark Edwards and Harold Bryant on 35 points, for second and third.
The Subway nearest the pins went to Bradd Kennedy on the 5th (410cm), Nicky Basson on the 7th (427cm), Mick Brooks on the 14th and Adam Thompson on the 16th.
The Leigh Brown nearest the pins went to Terry Johns on the third and Paul Jones on the 10th.
