A further eight were identified in Wellington, even in Oberon, six in Dubbo, three in Narromine, two in Bourke, two in Gulgong and one each in Mudgee and Bathurst.
Western NSW Health is urging Cowra residents to be vigilant for the onset of COVID-19 symptoms and, if they appear, to immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
"We encourage people with no symptoms to be tested for COVID-19 surveillance. People having surveillance tests may not need to isolate," a health spokesperson said.
COVID-19 testing is available at the Cowra Showground between 9am and 3pm.
The latest cases takes Cowra's total cases to 49.
