The rally was originally due to start on Saturday, August 14 with 52 rally cars taking part in a fun but gruelling six day challenge over the back roads of NSW from Mudgee to Young.
All funds raised will help kids and youth living with kidney disease.
While there are no entries from Cowra in this year's rally it is not too late for teams to get involved, the delay giving locals extra time to enter and for Cowra people to donate to the cause.
The rally's six-day route starts in Mudgee, the 'nest in the hills' before venturing through Meadow Flat, Lithgow, Oberon, Cowra, Adavale Lane, West Wyalong, Hay, Finley, Narrandera, finishing in Young.
A fundraising page for Cowra residents to donate has already been set up on the Kidney Kar Rally web page at www.kidneykarrally.org.au
