"The Garden is a tourism bonanza for our town thanks to the dedication of Manager Shane Budge and his staff," Ms Peters said.
"I would like to see the town actively attract a Japanese restaurant as well as a Japanese bathhouse," Ms Peters said.
"In order to compliment other Kendal Street businesses, I believe a Japanese restaurant needs to be located in the CBD but a bathhouse could be located out of the main town area.
"Council has been too passive in their efforts to attract new business over the past couple of years.
"If elected to Council I would like to begin discussions with other councilors about implementing a new approach to attracting business to our Shire.
Kendal Street deserves to be buzzing every weekend and bringing a bathhouse and restaurant to town may just be the turnaround we need," she said.
