Magpies and supporters to hear future plans for country footy on Tuesday night

The Cowra Magpies and their supporters will have the opportunity to hear, first hand, the plans of NSW Rugby League for country football at a meeting on Tuesday night.

"This is an especially important meeting for the Cowra Magpies," club president Marc McLeish said.

"It's a public meeting so everyone is invited," he added.

The Magpies have been unable to field a side in Premier Division this season, instead relying on a First Division side to represent senior rugby league in Cowra alongside the Cowra Under 18s and a senior League Tag side.

Pat Jones from NSW Rugby League will address the meeting which will start at 7pm at the Cowra Services Club.
