Cowra Croquet Club held their AGM on June 2 to elect new officer bearers.

Outgoing President Alison Muggeridge thanked all members for their support during a very difficult year and welcomed incoming President Heather Edwards, secretary Jenny Walker and treasurer Elaine Hall.

Come and have a game of croquet - everyone is welcome. Play times are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday between 1.15pm to 3.30pm.

Monday, May 31

Pam Boler and Jenny Walker challenged Heather Edwards and Alison Muggeridge.

While Heather and Alison races ahead, Pam and Jenny struggled with hoops but eventually Pam and Jenny took the lead when time called.

Pam and Jenny 18, Heather and Alison 15.

Saturday, June 5

Jan Trengrove played the single game against Gwen Bush and Ana Kusetic.

Jan was able to keep the momentum while Gwen and Ana had trouble with the fast court and wayward shots.

Jan pegged out 26 to Ana and Gwen 10.

Heather Edwards and Helen Bryant drew the game against Netta Noack and Elaine Hall.

Helen and Heather were away to a good start, which set the play of the game.

Netta and Elaine struggled, going through hoops and missed several roquets.

This enabled Heather and Helen to peg out 26 to 10.

Monday, June 7

Netta and Elaine played Pam and Heather in a very happy game. The score finished up Netta and Elaine 12 to Pam and Heather's pegged out 26.

Alison and Jenny played against each other. Both got off to a good start and the game was equal to the first six hoops and then Jenny crept ahead and pegged out 26 to Alison's 16.

Wednesday, June 9

Chris and Ana 16 defeated Heather and Pam 11. It was a freezing day, some really good roquet shots and hoops.
