The program included the Central Zone Double Rise Championship as well as the Jackpot Trophy Handicap event.
The major event for the afternoon was taken out by Grenfell local, Kris Gorman with an excellent score of 29/30.
Kris was the only shooter to achieve this making him the outright winner.
Well done, Kris.
The event, as the name would suggest, is where two targets are released simultaneously and takes some skill to hit one target closely followed by the other in a very short space of time.
The Jackpot Trophy Handicap was won by Andrew Donnelly from Bathurst with a score of 32/33 after a shoot-off with three other competitors.
Cowra's Tony O'Leary again had a very consistent afternoon and eventually took home the High Gun trophy with a score of 90/95.
This trophy is awarded to the shooter with the highest score over the program.
Preceding the shoot, the Cowra Gun Club AGM was conducted with President Mick Crowe being re-elected for another term in office, as was Treasurer Ewen Dun and Secretary Jenny Mould.
The next monthly competition will take place on Easter Saturday, April 3, commencing at 12 noon and this program will feature the Central Tablelands 50 target Double Barrel Championship.
