That's the simple reason behind the Cowra Bowling Club's decision to donate more than $90,000 towards the Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre (CINC).
Announced on Wednesday morning, the $97,000 donation will be used to purchase a new bus for the service, completely fitted out for people with disabilities.
Cowra Bowling Club Manager, Marc Eisenhauer said the board of directors were keen to lend CINC a helping hand.
"That's what clubs do, that's what we're supposed to do and we're very privileged and proud that we're in a position that we can do this," he said .
"It came to the board and the board went, 'hang on a minute, we're trading that well, we're in that good a financial position... we should be helping these people out'".
CINC CEO, Fran Stead said her team was "absolutely speechless" about the donation.
"We're so grateful, it just blew my mind, we were truly jumping for joy," she said.
"It will just open up the possibilities for our community and for what we can offer as an organisation."
Ms Stead said the bus will mainly be used for their new disability service at Stewart Street.
"We've just started and we're starting to get real traction, we've only got a fleet of four cars so we're already pulling our cars off to juggle people around so this will make a huge difference," she said.
"[The bus] will be used on a daily basis so that will free up the other cars to do different things in the community."
Ms Stead said transport can be a barrier for kids and adults with disability and the bus will be a valuable asset for the service.
"We'll be able to offer a school pickup and get these guys to Stewart Street where they can be taking part in activities and really feel like they belong to something," she said.
"We're just incredibly grateful to the Bowling Club, incredibly grateful that they wanted to support local... it just comes back to our vision, all working together, all for the one cause, locals supporting locals."
Cowra Mayor, Councillor Bill West said the donation will enable CINC to further help the Cowra community.
"I think it's inspiring, it's tremendous," he said.
"It demonstrates there is a really good social interest within organised clubs such as the Bowling Club.
"They are to be commended and I congratulate them on the initiative they are taking, it's a win-win.
"From my perspective, it's really wonderful to see these sorts of relationships that have such an enormous impact on our community in place."
Mr Eisenhauer thanked the board, staff and members of the Bowling Club for getting behind the cause.
"They know their money is going to a good place," he said.
"I think Cowra's going to get a lot out of it."
Mr Eisenhauer said the club has plans in the near future to initiate more projects to help out the local community.
