At the Cowra Men's Probus meeting, Don Caldwell was the Member Behind the Badge.

Don gave an informative talk about the different places that he worked, Wright Heaton, Western Stores, Myers and the Cannery.

He drove a taxi and had a school bus run, also bookmaking.

Thank you very much Don for sharing your life story with us.

Club members would like to convey their condolences to the family of Peter Morehead (one of our members) who passed away.

Our guest speaker was Marc McLeish who gave an informative talk on his Kokoda track expedition.

He walked 102km over eight days, starting from Sogeri Plateau through Ua-Ulf creek valley, Brown River Valley, Bellamy River, Deniki and ending at Kokoda.

Along the way they encountered difficult terrain and saw interesting places, also meeting some very interesting people.

They were flown out of there back along the track.

Thank you Marc for your talk.
