17 overs down in the second innings, it seemed like the Bowling Club were going to run rampant in a comfortable victory.

They put up 204 on a wicket where both teams thought par was going to be less, and their opposition, the Reedy Creek Raptors, were on the ropes at 6/56.
It wasn't the birthday present that middle order batsmen Scott Knights would've wanted - 149 runs needed for victory, with only a lower order to play with.
Yet at the end of the day, with a little bit of luck and a final delivery that edged past the keeper, it was the Raptors who triumphed.
Knights' unbeaten 108 was key, the visitors winning by a single wicket with two balls remaining, with the lower order rallying late with crucial support.
The Bowling Club's Chris Day, acting as skipper for the day, was in awe of Knights' performance.
"We batted well, we fielded pretty well, we bowled pretty well, we just got outclassed by an absolute quality bat today," Day said.
Scotty Knights was the difference by a country mile and played one of the best innings I've ever seen, so full credit to him.

"Scotty Knights was the difference by a country mile and played one of the best innings I've ever seen, so full credit to him."
Day said opportunities to get his wicket were few and far between.
"There was probably one about halfway through his innings, that we didn't quite get a hand to... Those are the sort of things you've got to take against quality sticks like him, because you don't get too many."
"Apart from that it was pretty chanceless really, just paced his innings well and did well to bat with the lower order."
While Tom Thuaux (3/35), Emerson Baratto (2/49) and Matt Gault (2/38) delivered with the ball for the hosts, Raptors captain Ben Coultas paid tribute to the resilience of his lower order to fight back alongside Knights, particularly number 11 Adam Parker (24 not out).
"Adam Parker at the end there... [He] knew it was the last wicket, but still played very well... [made some] very good shots and took a lot of pressure off Knightsy at the end of the day."
Now that his side has two wins under their belt, Coultas believed they were starting to find their feet after a tricky start to the season.
"It's good cricket... It's a much better standard than B Grade but... we're going to get there eventually."
The Bowling Club, now on three wins and two losses, will now turn their attention to a derby against the Valleys this week, while the Raptors will have a bye.
