Cowra CWA Branch at its October meeting reported on providing morning tea for the Department of Primary Industry Cowra Open Day and spoke of the passing of long time life member Jean Reid, originally from Crookwell.

After a light luncheon brought by members, the Annual Meeting was held and Linda Willding welcomed to chair the election of office bearers for the 2019-2020 year.
These resulted in Norma Power returned as President and Welfare of members Officer, Margaret Clark as new Secretary and Publicity Officer and Margaret Hennessy as new Treasurer and Land Cokking Officer.
Our Patron, Isabel Bensley was commended for her wonderful work as Treasurer over many years and was elected with Ros Wood as Vice-President.
Cowra Branch will meet in the Nguluway (library) room, 10am for 11am on Thursday, November 21.
