Outgoing St Pat's captain-coach Luke Branighan has been the highest profile of the group - set to lead the Tigers alongside Dean Murray - but there's plenty more making the switch.
Dave and Wayne Sellers, Dallas Booth, Trent Guihot and Garry Reilly are all throwing their support behind the Tigers' bid to break up the Boomers-Manildra Rhinos grand final matchup which has occurred the past two seasons.
It may only be the pre-season but Dave Sellers said there's a positive buzz around the club and their 2020 hopes.
"My main motivation going there was to try and win a comp because that's something I haven't done yet," he said.
"I've met Dean for a chat. Branno's met everyone and says there's a good vibe.
"There's a good crew of us going over. I've played with Dallas for probably 10 years now at Oberon, and I played with Wayne and Trent there as well.
"That'll make things fun and it should make for good road trips."
Come the new season Sellers will have played under Branighan at three different clubs, having already done so with St Pat's and Oberon Tigers.
Sellers said the five-eighth has been great to work with.
"When we were at Oberon they hadn't made a final in 40 years and Branno came in there his first years and got them into a grand final," he said.
"He's just good to play around. His kicking game is special and I really enjoy playing with him."
Trundle have lost just six regular season matches over the past three years on their way to a treble of premierships.
Canowindra reached the finals series last year but were knocked out in week one.
"Trundle will still be the favourites and the team to beat, but we'll definitely have a good shot," Sellers said.
"Canowindra had a good team last year. Winning a grand final feels like a realistic goal."
