The former Cowra resident celebrated her 100th birthday in Coffs Harbour on September 23.
Monie, who was born Monie Stubbs in Cowra on September 23, 1919, moved to Coffs Harbour four years ago to be closer to her family.
She had three sisters, Daphne, Jean and Betty all of whom are deceased.
Her parents were John Richard (Jack) and Ida Stubbs and grew up at 48 Lynch Street, Cowra.

In 1942 she married Sydney Hill, only weeks before he was sent overseas to serve with the air force during WWII. Tragically Syd was killed in action when his plane was shot down over the English Channel.
On September 12, 1959 Monie married Colin Bryant.
Together they had two children, Murray and Karen.
Monie and Col built a house at 3 Sloane Street and lived there for 55 years before moving to Coffs Harbour to be near their daughter Karen.
Monie and Col met through Cowra Golf Club where they were both members for more than 50 years.
Both played golf until their late 80's.
Monie left school at 15 and worked as a shop assistant in various chemists and department stores in Cowra.

After having her children, Monie worked as a seamstress making dresses and doing alterations for Esquire Mercers menswear store.
Col and Monie were married for 58 years before Col passed away in 2018.
Monie has five grandchildren (aged from 22 to 15), Emma, Kate, Matt, Kassie and Declan.
Monies 100th birthday celebration was held at Karen's house in Moonee Beach north of Coffs Harbour with a full full weekend of celebrations.
Guests travelled from Cowra, Canberra, Sydney, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane to celebrate the occasion.
Monie also received a visit from State Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh MP.
