This year the festival is set to be bigger than ever with the addition several new stall holders and displays.
Manager of the Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre, Shane Budge, said he was excited for a fantastic weekend.
"Stalls and displays will flow right through the garden, so be prepared to make your way around to see everything," he said.

"New to the festival is the Aikido Club of Senshu University and a Shakuhachi player.
"Kyudo, traditional Japanese archery, is back and we've got things for the kids jumping castles, face painting and fairy floss.
"It will be six hours of non-stop entertainment," he said.
Mr Budge said the festival was the perfect time to consider a Friend of the Garden pass which would allow visitors to come to the garden all year round and included entry to the festival.
"If your going to spend $60 to bring the family for the festival, consider the Friend of the Garden pass it's the same price and you can enter the garden all year."
