Furthermore, the fifth placed Bathurst St Pat's will need to lose both of their fixtures, and with one of those coming against the bottom of the table Blayney, it is difficult to see Cowra breaking through to the top five.
LEAGUE TAG
While it hasn't always followed a linear curve, the ongoing improvement of the women's League Tag side throughout the year would be heartening for coach Jack Nobes and his team, with plenty of close results and a couple of upsets helping to create an upward trajectory for the team after a slow start to the year.
Sunday's win against the fifth placed Mudgee Dragons was another example of that, with Shailee Dolbel and Olivia McNamara leading the way in scoring as the home side eventually won by six points (14-8).
UNDER 18s
Rory Brien's boys put up a gallant effort on Saturday afternoon, but outstanding indvidual performances from Hayden Cummings (Two tries) and Noah Ryan (Three goals) weren't quite enough, with the fourth-placed Dragons holding on to a four-point victory crucial for their finals hopes.
