Cowra Tidy Town's hosted a two-day school holiday workshop for Cowra's youth, which focused on children getting creative with recycled materials.
Local artist Michelle Coombes helped the kids to construct a map of Cowra and creating buildings and different modes of transport from old bottles, straws and cardboard boxes.
"I chose airplanes because my family is Brumby Aircraft... so I've grown up around airplanes," she said.

"[It's] thinking outside of the square, it's a challenge, it's solving puzzles.
"This is something different for them, to be able to make a mess and it's ok."
