These events hosted by the Cancer Action Group are not only entertaining for the entire community but also continue to raise much needed funds.
The group is raising funds to replace their stock of Lymphoedema Compression Sleeves.
Lymphoedema is the swelling of part of the body caused by a build up of lymph fluid, which can happen after some cancer treatments.
The compression sleeves are part of the treatment for Lympoedema.
The Cancer Action group provide these sleeves for patients which are quite expensive.
This means that not only to the sleeves assist with their treatment but also assists with the financial burden that patients encounter.
